In 2005, very auspiciously,I was appointed as the ‘MCC Young Cricket Artist for 2005’ at Lord's to cover events over the year at the Lord’s Ground. This included Bangladesh’s first visit to the ‘Home of Cricket’ and the gripping first Ashes Test Match. I also recorded the refurbishment of the Pavilion as well as other unusual views around the pitch and behind the scenes of this very special place. All of the sketches at Lord’s appear in the book, ‘Tom Graveney at Lord’s – A Year at the Home of Cricket’, written by Stephen Fay and published by Methuen.
